He is part of the exhibition Dust specks on the sea \u2013 Contemporary sculpture in the french Caribbean and Hai\u0308ti since 2018. It has been shown in several place in USA and in France.<\/p>\n<p>He has been an advisor to Canadian choreographer Dana Michel since 2016 and performs both alone like at La Station and Triangle France in 2020 or Palais de Tokyo in 2018<\/p>\n<p>Sometimes Curator he was invited to think of a collective exhibition with the works of the Frac collections and to produce pieces in dialogue, the exhibition \u00ab Motifs, raisons d\u2019agir \u00bb has been shown in Espace Franc\u0327ois Mitterand at Guiguamp in 2022<\/p>\n<p>Collaboration is an important side of his work and he did several projects like \u00ab Mobilier Peint \u00bb with Flora Moscovici, \u00ab Dilva \u00bb for the 2020 Manifesta in Marseille with Io Burgard, \u00ab Slash Universe \u00bb with Dana Michel or the duo show \u00ab Cuerpo, Espacio y Todo lo que Rodea (Body, Space and Everything that Surrounds) \u00bb with Nora Maite Nieves at Embajada (Puerto Rico)<\/p>\n<p><!--info--><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<style>.scroll-pane{width:800px; height:750px; overflow:auto;}<\/style>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"panes aboutWork\">\n<div class=\"scroll-pane\">\n<h3 class=\"title\">Sobre su obra<\/h3>\n<p>La pra\u0301ctica de Yoan Sorin vari\u0301a segu\u0301n las mitologi\u0301as que actualiza en sus dibujos, instalaciones, pinturas y performances. Adema\u0301s de multitud de cuadernos de apuntes a modo de cuadernos de bita\u0301cora que llena uno tras otro, ejerciendo su visio\u0301n ca\u0301ustica y a veces mordaz, Yoan Sorin compagina el apunte con su proliferante creacio\u0301n de objetos, que pueden entenderse como jerogli\u0301ficos o aforismos, o como instancias en las que las representaciones se confabulan.<\/p>\n<p>El artista, que titulo\u0301 una de sus primeras exposiciones Just do it, fusiona y mezcla texturas siguiendo la lo\u0301gica de ensamblajes explosionados y barrocos compuestos por collages y efectos de espejo sobre fondos que hacen referencia a la historia afroamericana, el hip hop, el branding, el streetwear y las historias del arte y del deporte.<\/p>\n<p>A medio camino entre el outsider art, la este\u0301tica estatuaria y la chatarra barata, la obra de Yoan Sorin se relaciona a nivel no\u0301mada con objetos y ornamentos dome\u0301sticos en su profuso uso de perspectivas compuestas, bloques
