Lorena Martínez de Corral
Born in Madrid, she is an art historian, artistic consultant and independent curator. She holds a degree in Geography and History from the Universidad Complutense de Madrid, and a Master in Fine Arts from the Institute of Fine Arts, New York University. She is the director of the Contemporary Art Collection at the Fundación Coca-Cola. She also runs Expo Actual, a company that curates modern and contemporary art exhibitions, carries out museum projects and offers artistic consultancy both privately and for institutions. Previously, she was head of the winning consortium of the European Parliament Collection Assessment Project, 2012-13. She won the Fundación ENAIRE competition, in Madrid and Santander, and was a fine arts consultant for the Comunidad de Madrid (2011-13). She was co-director of the project Sculpture in Public Spaces for the Banco Santander Financial City in Boadilla del Monte. She was the head of cultural content for the website Gioconda.com, as well as the exhibition coordinator at the Fundación Caja Madrid (1996-2000).
