Promoting International Emerging Art
Since its creation in 2017, the ARCOMadrid Prize has been annually awarded to the best emerging artwork presented at the ARCO Madrid fair. Its objective is to reaffirm ART Situacions’ commitment to international emerging art, supporting young creators and promoting current contemporary art. Starting in 2022, the prize changes its name to the Pilar Forcada ART Situacions Prize, in honor of the founder and director of ART Situacions, who sadly passed away in 2022. Pilar Forcada was the soul of the project and her legacy continues to inspire the emerging artistic community.
